Registration Information For NCHS Students

All Nashville Community High School students and parents are asked to register for the 2015-16 school year on Monday, Aug. 3 starting at 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. or on Tuesday, Aug. 4 starting at 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

At registration, parents will complete required paperwork, provide proper documentation and pay student fees while students will receive their class schedule and have their yearbook and school ID pictures taken. Incoming freshman will not receive class schedules until freshman orientation.

Incoming freshman students and parents should complete and return the required forms they will receive in the freshman mailing, which is scheduled to be mailed out the week of July 20.

Returning sophomores, juniors and seniors who have moved (within the district) and all new students, including freshmen, will need to bring two proofs of residency, one from each category (ex. Category I: recent property tax bill, mortgage papers, copy of lease; Category II: driver’s license, vehicle or voter registration, most recent gas, electric, water, cable television and/or credit card bill.)

Freshman and new student orientation will take place on Thursday, Aug. 6 at 7 p.m.

A required Chromebook Meeting for incoming freshman and senior parents is scheduled for both July 16 and August 6.

Both meetings begin at 6 p.m. and parents are only required to attend one.

A few weeks prior to registration, a school supply list and some registration material will be available for printing ahead of time on the NCHS website,

Parking Permits For NCHS Students

Starting Monday, July 20, NCHS students can purchase on-campus parking permits. Students must bring their valid driver’s license and $20 to the main office to be placed in the lottery. This is not a first come, first serve process.

A lottery procedure will be used in assigning parking spots. The lottery will take place during the first week of school starting with seniors first, then, juniors, then sophomores.

For a student to be placed in the lottery, they must provide a valid driver’s license and pay the $20 fee no later than Aug. 7.

After Aug. 7, students will not be entered in the lottery but will still be eligible for the remaining parking spots after assignments have been made.

Students will come to the office to pick up their parking permits during the first week of school.
