Miss Alicia Ann Williams of Hoyleton departed this life at Washington County Hospital in Nashville on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at 6:45 p.m. She had attained the age of 18 years, ten months and 22 days.

Alicia was born on August 1, 1996 in Belleville, the daughter of Derrick Williams and Lori (nee Buss) Williams.

Alicia was a 2014 graduate of Nashville Community High School in Nashville, where she was a four year member of the band. Alicia was currently attending Kaskaskia College in Centralia and was of the Catholic faith. Alicia loved cooking, taking care of people and spending time with her family and her pets.

Left to mourn her passing is her mother, Lori Willams of Hoyleton and special friend Brian Feldt of Pierron; father, Derrick Williams of Freeburg; brother, Max Williams of Hoyleton; maternal grandparents, Dennis and JoAnn Buss of Nashville; paternal grandmother, Rena Williams of Sparta; maternal great grandmother, Rose Degenhardt of Rice; her aunt, Angie Heiman and her husband Dave of Nashville; two uncles, Doug Buss and his wife Michelle of Glen Carbon, and David Scott Williams of Sparta; three cousins, Anna Marie and Alan Buss of Glen Carbon, and Aidan Heiman of Nashville, other relatives and numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, David L. Williams; maternal great grandfather, Bernard Degenhardt; maternal great grandparents, George and Mary Buss; paternal great grandparents, Daymon and Jackie Moore, Fred Williams and Doris Holloway.

Funeral services were held at Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville on Monday, June 29 with Fr. Andy Knopik officiating and with interment to follow in the St. Ann cemetery in Nashville.

Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville on Sunday, June 28 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Monday at the funeral home from 7:30 a.m. until the service hour.

Should friends desire memorials may be made to Nashville High School Music Boosters and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
