Mr. Brandon M. Pate of Nashville departed this life at the Washington County Hospital Emergency Room in Nashville, on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 9:43 p.m. He had attained the age of 34 years, six months and two days.

Brandon was born on November 3, 1980 in Tucson, Ariz., son of Michael Pate and Victoria (Sorich) Johnson. He was united in marriage to Jessica Kitowski on October 12, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville and she survives his passing.

Brandon was an iron worker for Local 21. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville. Brandon enjoyed camping, hunting, the St. Louis Cardinals, motorcycles and he loved spending time with family.

Left to mourn his passing is his wife, Jessica Pate of Nashville; two sons, Gunnar and Logan Pate of Moville, Iowa; his father, Michael (Christine) Pate of San Diego, Calif.; his mother, Victoria (Michael) Johnson of Arizona; his ex-stepfather, Dennis (Angela) Johnson; maternal grandparents, Teddy and Jackie Sorich of Arizona; four sisters, Devin Pate of San Diego, Calif., Jenn (Jamison) Davis of Chandler, Ariz., and Shayla and Paige Johnson, both of Arizona; two nieces, Kendall and Addison Davis; mother-in-law, Dawn (David) Ezell of Troy; father-in-law, Ernest (Dorothy) Kitowski of Nashville; grandmother-in-law, Judy Morgan of Nashville; two brother-in-laws, Shawn Kitowski of Nashville, and Eric Kitowski of Chandler, Ariz.; a special niece, Patience Kitowski of Nashville; his godchild, Malachi Hopkins; other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Paul and Reba Pate and grandfather-in-law, Howard Morgan.

Funeral services were held at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville on Tuesday, May 12 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Matthew Wietfeldt officiating and with interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville on Monday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 7:30 a.m. until 9 a.m. and then at the church from 10 a.m. until the service hour.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Gunnar and Logan Pate Trust Fund, J.D.R.F or Trinity Lutheran Church and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
